Right from the start I was to know what happened, to cause Becky not to sleep, on Friday 16TH June 2018. I was intrigued already and this was by the second paragraph.
You really begin to feel for Becky even without knowing what happened. She has so much going on in her head and not sleeping on top of that is hard to cope with.
Around a 1/3 of the way through the book you get a glimpse of what happened in June 2018. There is still more to it though so you are still so enticed into the book more and really feel connected to Becky.
The way this book is written written is so good. I was so excited to know who it was that was freaking Becky out and who lit the candles. Eeek
Wow I had an incling what happened but I was not expecting what did happen.
Brilliant!

If you thought you were having or had sleep issues, as I do, they are not a patch on this women’s!
There is something very addictive about this book that keeps you glued to the pages and keeps you reading. This is the first book I have picked up and actually finished since the corona virus lockdown, so that in it’s self speaks volumes about the book! For some reason I have really struggled with reading throughout this whole pandemic and haven’t been able to focus on a book longer than a page to two, let alone writing a review, so when I picked this book up I didn’t expect to get into it, let alone finish the entire book in a day.
I have had this book on my to be read pile for a while now and I chose to give this one a go today as the page count wasn’t to daunting, as well as sounding like a fascinating plot, obviously

Great! I didn’t guess the ending which tends to happen when you read a lot of this genre :)

As others have said a quick read. I did get into Becky's story and wanted to know what the secrets were.
It was an ok read. It was an ok build in tension with you reading on to find out what was to happen next. I didn't like the ending though it just seemed rushed at the end. Also felt like a let down with how it ended. Having read the whole book I wouldn't read it again that's why I gave it a 3 star rating.
This is an early review due to picking up a free copy from netgalley

I received I complimentary copy from the author via Voracious Readers Only.
The background story to Beckys insomnia and mental health issues seem to drag on throughout this book. I was so disappointed with the ending. It was almost as if the author didn’t know how to finish the story.

Thanks to netgalley for the chance to read this book.
A good read with an unexpected twist.
When Becky goes to university she sees it as a way to get help to help her finally put her past behind her. She hasn’t slept since 2018 following the death of her brother. She thinks someone is stalking her, calling her name and watching her. Is this really happening or is it because she is paranoid from the lack of sleep.
