I'm still thinking about things I liked in this story a week later.
This isnt a cozy adventure but I liked how cozy life at Neith felt at times.
I like the MCs freindships with Gurn and just Gurn in general.
The ending was a little predictable and the human atagonists are just ok.
The highlight for me is how the main characters relationship grew. It so typical for books to have attraction at first sight.  This is not the case for Martise or Silhara. It so much more interesting and compelling journey because the emotional compotent came first.
I want to read more stories like this

Absolutely loved this book! One of my favorites, for sure. The two leads have a spark, the plot and writing style is engaging, and it's a genuinely fun book to read! I couldn't put it down

At the beginning of reading this book, I thought that even my English Language Degree wouldn’t help me decipher the very first chapters since the author’s style isn’t that much common or easy. HOWEVER, I encourage readers to keep reading this book you’ll get through the difficulty. Simply put, interesting characters, a somehow new plot, not that much adventurous but that’s good If you’re going for a more peaceful than angsty read. I absolutely loved the world building and atmosphere and feel like Neith is going to be my comfort place to imagine and fantasize about from now on.

I wanted to love this, and perhaps I would have two or the years ago. But present day Ria couldn't warm up to it and after months of hard slog, I finally staggered over the finish line today. Alas, not for me.
