I can't get over how amazing this book is! Sucks you in right away, and you can't stop reading until you are done. The characters are so real. I recommend it big time to everyone!!

DNF @ 25%. I CANNOT EVEN BEGIN TO UNDERSTAND HOW THIS BOOK IS SO POPULAR. First of all can we just talk about Candice? Quite possibly the WORST friend I have ever read about. I hate her. Moving on to the aftermath of the sexual assault and how the main character just moves right along with her life as if NOTHING happened whatsoever. Immediately it is forgotten about. And even though her bitch of a best friend does not believe a word she says, she still lives with her and acts like everything is fine? Apart from the complete and utter ANNOYANCE I felt while reading this book, I was sincerely offended by how downplayed the effects that sexual assault have on a survivor were. This book pissed me off on so many levels and I would recommend it to LITERALLY NO ONE.

Loved this book, very engrossing, couldn't stop until the end. Wonderful depth to the characters. Only complaints are the time jumps and a few missing details, definitely worth the read.

3.5 stars.

I didn't like Forgiving Lies as much as I enjoyed Molly's other books. I can't really say exactly why, but there were a few things that bothered me.

Blake's pull in this book was just...AGGRAVATING.
Spoiler His behavior with Rachael from the start was very weird and she just brushed it off a lot. A guy grips your leg like that and seems super bipolar...well, maybe he has issues and those issues are definitely quickly becoming your problem. Maybe you should get away? Or tell someone that might believe you? Not your dumbass bitch of a friend that seems to have wet her panties over her own cousin because obviously that will get you nowhere. And keeping his name out of conversation so that nobody knows who the hell this guy is if he bothers you. NOT FREAKING SMART. You might as well stamp a sticker on your forehead that says, I'M PROTECTING MY RAPIST...GEE I HOPE HE DOESN'T COME ONTO ME AGAIN BECAUSE NOBODY WILL KNOW WHO TO LOOK FOR WHEN I'M MISSING. Idiot.

Rachael was a pretty big annoyance for me. Right along with Candace and Blake. Her whole Forgiving Lies speech would have made more sense coming from her mouth if she didn't lie to save herself some embarrassment. Where as, Kash lied because it was his job and he was keeping her safe. AND SHE HAS THE NERVE TO BERATE HIM FOR THAT! Ugh. The girl is...Whatever.

I liked the flow and the writing. The plot was okay and Kash and Mason were very likable. The other characters could use some work.

I've read all of Molly McAdams' novels, except Stealing Harper because Chase was my least favorite character in "Taking Chances" so I didn't really want to reread that book from his point a view, and I have to say that this is my least favorite.

When it comes to Molly McAdams' New Adult stories I've come to expect a little bit of cheese. The plots are slightly unrealistic in the sake of being romantic, but I've grown to kind of love it.

However, in the this novel, the characters got engaged in a crazy, unlikely small amount of time and I didn't like it. People just don't do that. Fall in love, sure. I can believe that; I want to believe that when you meet the one, you fall in love quickly. But engaged? No. Not unless you're drunk and in Vegas.

I did like Rachel and I thought she was both relatable and interesting, even though she had the typical tragic life of a New Adult heroine. And Kash was the typical bad-boy heart-throb with a soft side. It was cliche at it's finest, amusing but overdone.

Forgiving Lies was McAdams' first book that took me more than three days to read--it took six months. It just didn't get my attention or my love like the others did. And even though it ended on a cliffhanger, I don't think I'm going to read the sequel.

I absolutely LOVED this book Molly!!!

Rachel is a wonderful character and her humor was the best! The scene of them furniture shopping cracked me up!!

Nothing like spontaneous dancing in a store!

Kash is everything! Undercover cop/Bad boy looks, tattoos, abs, and that lip ring...Lord have mercy!!

I must say...I REALLY loved the kitchen scene towards the end...I am really glad that you are writing more to there story, they deserve it and OBVIOUSLY after that Epilogue there is no way around it LOL.

Kash and Rachel are simply one word.... HOT!

3.75 Stars (Here I got with increments again.... not yet 4, but definitely not 3.5 Stars)

In the infamous words of Molly McAdams, "Oh My Word." Why did I even bother reading the epilogue ESPECIALLY AFTER ALL THE CRAZY IN THIS BOOK ALREADY?!?!

I knew Blake was a creep. Totally and I KNEW he was what he was.

I was so relieved that Logan/Kash and Rachel weren't involved in a sick love triangle (even though I was worried that Eli might make one at a couple of points; thank goodness McAdams never went there). I actually really liked their characters a lot and was invested into their relationship.

Guess I'm about to jump into the second book stat so I can find out how this story ends, folks. I wish I didn't have too, but I must.

I have been a fan of Molly McAdams since I first read Taking Chances. This book is different from her past work. It's still a great roamce novel but with sixpence.

Rachel has secrets and things she doesn't want to talk about or open up about. She has a wall around her to protect her. When Kash moves next door he knocks all of those walls down. But he also has a last and secrets. He is trying to do his job and not fall for Rachel.

You will fall in love with Kash and Rachel and this book leaves you with a huge cliff hanger. I'm excited for the next book in this series.
