Absolutely LOVE this story! It was definitely an unexpected read for me, especially since it's a Molly McAdams story, but I wouldn't have changed a thing! Love the chemistry between Rachel & Kash, though I would have loved to slap this sh*t out of her best friend! I loved the suspense, though some things may have seem a little predictable, the author totally redeemed herself with the ending...NEVER SAW THAT COMING! OMG...can't wait for Deceiving Lies! Totally devoured this book!

Omg what an emotional rollar coaster! And totally Ended on a cliff hanger. I have to start second one right away!!!

Another Molly McAdams book that I've fallen in love with. I read this in one sitting, I couldn't put it down even if my house had been on fire (which thankfully it wasn't)

I love the characters, the story and I'm running out to get the second book as soon as I finish typing this review.

Can't wait to find out what happens next.

Loved the green sour patch, the nerf gun fight, the pancakes, Mason, Rachel and most of all Kash. Not a huge fan of the major conflict of the story...I think maybe it went just a little too far. Also not really a fan of the epilogue. I was hoping that book #2 would be Mason's story but that's obviously not the case. I'll still read it though.
This is probably my favorite book of Molly's so far.

Okay, first off. Molly McAdams.... We start to get a happy epilogue then THAT gets thrown. Why. Just. Why?! But loved this book despite that cliffhanger ending. I'm very happy I have the sequel on my shelf and will definitely be starting that very soon. I now understand the green Sour Patch Kids reference. :) Loved Kash, but then again, who wouldn't love him?! I'm nervous yet excited to see what happens in the sequel. This book wasn't at all what I expected it to be. I got teary eyed and almost lost it a couple times. Candice unfortunately even after being redeemed, I still don't like her character. Regardless if Rachel forgave her, I don't. Friends don't act like Candice did and honestly I don't think she will continue to redeem herself in the sequel. I will be beyond shocked if Molly is able to redeem her for me.

I don't know if it was the slumpy reading mood I've been in, or that this book just wasn't for me. It took me two weeks to read it, and I just didn't feel any connection to the characters. And I'd been so excited for it too.

Why did I like this seemingly ordinary book? Because it was simple, and it stayed simple. There is nothing I hate more than a book that starts off simple and becomes overly complicated by the end.
The only thing I did not like about this book were the bitchy bestfriend (I don't care what I go through, if my bestfriend doesn't have my back then we're not best friends or even friends in that matter), and how fast Rachel and Kash felt about each other. I understand there were time skips but for me, a month is not enough time for me to believe that you love each other and I don't believe in love at first sight, so all in all the romance just didn't feel real enough for me. Yet, I really enjoyed the simplicity of it but it would have been better if their love wasn't built just because of the convenience of them being neighbors. It probably would have been better if they were investigating and realized the killer was at the school so they would have to start there and investigate more and they ran into each other and attended classes together...blah blah blah lol but it was set in the summer sooo....
So I do not recommend this book if you're looking for a deep romance but if you're looking for something cute then this is it.
I will go ahead and read the second one because I always finish what I start.

Oh man ist das Ende gemein :o
Hab das ganze an einem Tag durchgesuchtet ^^
