A cute, tidy little murder mystery. The imagery is especially nice in this book- you can taste the tea and see the village that phoebe moves to. A great book for a cozy evening.
I do wish we’d gotten to see a bit more of phoebe coming into her powers and actually learning to control them.

I really enjoyed this book, but warning if you are looking for a witchy romance, this is not the book for you, it's more of a slowburn with the romance and while i am interested in continuing the series, i do want to warn people of that so they don't go into this expecting romance. What this book does have is a main character who moves into her aunt's old victorian house in a small town, a murder mystery in that small town, the main character discovers how witch-y she is, there's magic involved a possible love interest that I really want to know more of, and a great cast of characters.
I'm adding the sequel to my tbr and hopefully I'll read it sometime soon

Classic autumnal read. I judged the book by it's cover and assumed it would be a romance so boy, did I have a giggle when the murder happened.
I really enjoyed this book, it gave me a nice break for all the romance books I have been reading of late!
