Wow. What a book. Such an epic story of resilience, perseverance and bravery. If someone had asked me if I wanted to read a book about farmers, migrant workers and the Great Depression, I would have immediately said no. Do I want to read a Kristin Hannah book? Yes. I’m glad to be wrong because I was hooked from the first chapter.
