I have a thing for geeks, they are my people so when they get the happy ever after, it makes me happy. Seb is that nerdy geek, and Marcus is his happy ever after. These two crash into one another throughout different times and each time set my heart a flame.

Overall, I rather enjoy Jax Calder. This author is a solid 3/4 star read for me every time. She hits it out of the park for me whenever I want that fun afternoon romance read.

First book of the year to make me cry! I loved Jax Calder's Beautiful Hearts, so I couldn’t wait to read Reckless Hearts, Seb’s story. Seb’s been secretly crushing on his sister’s best friend, the charming and flirty Marcus. One unexpected, steamy night changes everything between them. Oh, I was gitty seeing them build this private bond.

This book tugs at your heartstrings—yes, I bawled! The tender moments between Seb and Marcus are beautifully written, and the reality of their relationship had me on edge. Their lives take them in different directions, but years later they get a second chance. Gah, it’s a hard-fought HEA.
