This was cute, sweet, spicy, and fun to read. It’s a quick read, not very deep or complicated, but a fun and swoon worthy read. They have great chemistry. No big complaints at all, just felt like there could’ve been a little more depth at the beginning but overall it was a great spicy romance. I would’ve preferred if they were a few years older, I think that would make more sense.

Ruth Stilling just keeps them coming, and I am here for it! I loved seeing the world of the Seattle Scorpions expand into The Blade Kings, and Jon Morgan as a tough coach and total papa bear was chef’s kiss. Jake and Kendra had such a strong start to this new series, with great chemistry and a solid emotional connection. I can’t wait to see where this series goes next!
