3 stars. A sweet, sexy, fun read but I just can't give it more than 3 stars.

The writing is great, it's actually a very funny book and it made me laugh quite a bit, it's cheesy and super cute. The characters were all so wonderful. Seriously, there wasn't anyone in this book that I didn't like. But on the flip side there was also no conflict. Not with the main characters anyways. There was more conflict and drama because of Henry, Nicholas's younger brother than anyone else. I didn't mind but without any really drama this book was a bit boring to read at times. Then of course four chapters until the end we get the dumbass third act break-up that kinda went unresolved
Spoilerwho told the press about Nicholas's past and the miscarriage with his HS sweetheart? That was quickly dropped and forgotten about
and it was stupid and pointless.

Like I said the characters were great. I loved Olivia and Nicholas. They were great and had such amazing chemistry. I loved their bantering and they are both very spunky people. The relationship was cute and developed at a good pace. The ending was super cute.

I know the next book is about Henry and I plan on reading it but I'm not in a rush to get to it.

This was a perfect Sunday/Holiday kind of read. Every romance reader must have a very secret ( and not so secret) place in their heart for billionaires/rich/royal guys and the classic Cinderella story.

This was this story. It was funny, really funny I might add, sweet and the sex scenes where cleverly and well written. Olivia was a strongly written MC even at times towards the end I thought she got shit on but she was great.Nicolas was cocky, kind hearted and enough of a bad boy/ass hole I loved him.

I appreciate that this didn't end the way I thought it would.

4.75 stars but I am rounding up. I loved this. The audiobook was perfect as the narration on both parts was done impeccably.

Olivia Hammond owns a small coffee shop in NYC. She goes through each day in a routine that gets more difficult each morning. But the coffee shop is important to her. In dire financial straits, her whole life changes when Nicholas, Prince of Wessco comes into to her shop.

Nicholas is the typical playboy prince. Cocky as hell and unbelievably gorgeous. Kind of an ass and yet extremely loyal to his family. His life is also turned upside down when Miss Olivia Hammond turns down his drunken proposition.

I loved pretty much the whole thing. There were a few moments where I was like "Was that necessary?" But I did love it. I'm a sucker for a fairytale. :) I listened to the audiobook and the POVS alternated between Olivia & Nicholas. The narrators each did an exceptional job. And I must say the writer did as well. Often times alternating POVs can be redundant but these did not repeat what the other person was thinking in the moment. Rather, they moved the plot right along. It was refreshing.

The main thing I did not like was the turning point in the storyline at the end of the book. But it was so minor compared to everything else.

I wasn't too sure going in if I would like this book - I'm not way into the whole royalty thing, to be honest. I thought I would be reminded of William and Kate. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure they're lovely people, but to me they are also rather bland, and I don't particularly want to read a book about them. Honestly, I wouldn't have purchased "Royally Screwed" if it weren't for the rave reviews from most of my Goodreads friends!

I'm happy to say that you all were right! I sooooo enjoyed this book, it was a ton of fun, and while there are definite similarities between this royal family and a certain real life royal family, I didn't feel like I was reading a tabloid or a newspaper article or anything like that. And then, just like that, my TBR has grown by two more books because now I have to read the rest of the series!

Overall, this is a fun, light read. I had some issues however, the love story seemed very insta lovey but I did like how at the end the rule about marriage wasn't magically bent.
