It was so so good. It was honestly better than handmaids tale. I love the complexity of Aunt Lydia’s character and the multiple perspectives connecting as the book goes on, the structure is so good. I believe Nicole and Garth got married btw 😋.

WOW! Great follow up to Handmaid's Tale. I've watched the show and always hated Aunt Lydia but now I have context and appreciate her as a complex character. I called pretty early on that Daisy was baby Nicole, but did NOT see that Agnes was Hannah, June's other daughter. I really liked how she took elements from the show and used them (or, more likely, she told them her plans and they worked together? Idk how TV works lol) but this felt like a cohesive story that put a really nice bow of closure on a pretty depressing tale. I look forward to the hulu adaptation which will no doubt follow.
