Not much happens in this book, it's just a brief
murder adventure on a cruise
followed by the issues of New Avengers that featured Bobbi's "resurrection". The New Avengers issues are really talking-head heavy, which gets old fast.

Issues 6, 7 and 8 took a strange turn on a nerd cruise convention on a ship in the Bermuda Triangle. For a volume titled, My Feminist Agenda, I was hoping for a more kickass version of Mockingbird. Instead, in issue 6, she is swept along by a storyline that can't go well and seems most at home playing RPG with the nerds on the cruise. In issue 7 she takes over a murder investigation which is slightly amusing. Issue 8 has a weird villain, weird plot and super weird resolution. And THEN I find out that it's the last one! The rest of the volume is filled out with two New Avengers issues.

This was a bummer ending given that Volume 1 was good and the title to this volume looked so promising.

Not what I was expecting. Still really good with the comedic elements.

This whole series was so freaking good. It's interesting, layered, fun, and more. There are mercorgis!

I personally preferred the non-linear plotting of the first arc (the puzzle-box plot), but this arc is still so good it makes me want to flip tables. The fact that we only get two arcs is absolutely tragic.

THIS IS RIDICULOUSLY GOOD!

I would have been okay if this was the end of the run anyway, because it was really, really good, and it had a closed-off feel to it. Very worth reading, and very self-contained.
But the way it Cain has been treated in regards to this book is disgusting. I would read any amount of comics written by this woman, and now she's saying she probably won't write more, because a bunch of knuckleheaded, neanderthal, human caps-lock, asshole men little boys decided that comics shouldn't be feminist and feminists should be harassed until they go away. I am SO ANGRY.

This book is SO GOOD.

Puff...

Mockingbird is probably the most relatable superhero I've ever read. I love her.

it was over too soon. I wish wish Marvel hadn't cancelled this one.
