Okay, so I have pretty similar feelings about this issue to the last.

I really wanted to love this series and believe the hype of it all. Believe the people that say it should have lasted longer. But being an avid-reader of Marvel comics now, I would have to disagree.

While this was fun and kick-ass, the plot wasn't as compelling as I wished it would be. The art style was amazing. I think this series could have used A LOT more action.

I love Bobbi Morse, I really do. I know this series is hers, but I don't think it did her as much justice as I wanted it to.

I know that she's her own character and doesn't need the Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., but I think that if they were incorporated into the story more, I think there would definitely be more story to tell about her.

Even though I'm not satisfied with this series, I'm happy that Bobbi Morse got her own series.

I really need to try a Dirty Cowboy.

(It‰ЫЄs a drink, perv.)

This was really great.

Until the last couple pages. I did not understand the
Spoilerfeminist pirates
or the
Spoilermercorgis
. It was almost like Ms. Cain didn‰ЫЄt know how to end it, so she had someone else make something up that didn‰ЫЄt make sense. I was lost.

So is Chelsea Cain not writing any more?

And what‰ЫЄs with the New Avengers in the back of all these books?? (They did the same think with the Black Panther Book 3 I just finished. It didn‰ЫЄt seem to add anything.

I don‰ЫЄt know. I like this character, and I like Chelsea Cain‰ЫЄs writing. But where does it go from here? Was it canceled?

Honestly fuck the haters (feel free to read the controversy surrounding this, or not). This was such a delight to read. I laughed out loud at the jabs and references throughout. It truly sucks that this series has ended because I wanted more.

Worth it for the cover alone! And excellent wrap-up to the storylines throughout. Portlanders (and former Portlanders), look for the tip to the author's home during the episode on the cruise ship. And more corgis!

Will admit I only read the first chunk, finishing up the Mockingbird issues, skipping the New Avengers stuff. I am behind the times on my outrage that this was canceled; it is SO FUNNY and fun and delicious. I can't tell you how mad I am that there isn't more.

I do not read a lot of Marvel but I just can't relate to most of the characters or the stories. However, Mockingbird is the best book Marvel had and I'm completely sad this is where it ended. Fantastic.

Fun series, but I enjoyed parts 1-5 much more because they hung together relatively coherently without background knowledge needed. This chunk of Bobbi's story was... interesting, with more ridiculous shenanigans and disappointingly less feminism than previous installments. Enjoyable on the whole though.
