Super bummed this was a short run. I really like what Cain did with Bobbi. Wish there was more.

This was bloody brilliant!

I can't believe that this fantastic series has been cancelled by Marvel. :(

I think it would've been better if it could've been properly finished. I'm sad it got cancelled it was a fun series.

Ugh, I wish there were 30+ more Cain Mockingbird issues to read. The 3 collected here are such fun, and they do a great job of wrapping up the run in a way that feels natural and not rushed. I don’t really get why Marvel didn’t just collect all 8 issues of Cain’s run in one trade, instead of filling the back half of this volume with some random Bendis New Avengers (which Mockingbird is in, but that’s the only connection, and her character is written and drawn so differently that it’s jarring to say the least). But they gotta sell books, I guess.

I have really enjoyed the Mockingbird series. It's funny, you don't have to read a bunch of other titles to get it, the art is good and it's just nice to read a super hero book with a woman who uses her brain.

delightful, funny, no toxic masculinity, no refrigeration…

Looking at the reviews, people who like more traditional style super hero comics aren’t into it. People who are turned off by toxic masculinity and excessive melodrama find this to be delightful by contrast. It was funny. Bobbi has her own agency - she’s not just there to support the male superheroes. So of course this was cancelled after 8 issues.

The only thing that was annoying to me was the references to everything else going on in the Marvel Universe, which is one of those things that you just have to accept when you read Marvel comics.

Mockingbird, Vol. 2: My Feminist Agenda is the second of Mockingbird's title books and, unfortunately, her last. Bobbi's title has been canceled in the wake of the Civil War II, even though she was well-received and well-reviewed.

Although Mockingbird Vol. 2 has disappointingly very little to do with the Civil War II, I like Bobbi's character a lot and wish I could read more. Bobbi is witty and smart, and the story is weird in a good way.

The book takes place on a super-hero-themed cruise, and author Cain and penciler Niemczyk do a great job of infusing the whole book with a healthy dose of dork. There are a ton of nerdy splashes - suspects are shown as D&D villains, background characters are often dressed in cosplay, very cute graphics like footprint guides and flowcharts enhance Bobbi's detective-ness. I do wish Mockingbird herself had embraced the nerdiness a little more just for the fun factor - she spent most of the book accepting the nerds, but not becoming one of them.

I'm really sad to see this title go - it's a good one.
