Five stars for the delightful conclusion to Cain’s all-too-brief run. Two stars for the dull “New Avengers” issues crammed in to pad out the length.

5 stars * 3 issues = 15
2 stars * 2 issues = 4
19 stars / 5 issues = 3.8 stars, which I’m happy to round up to 4 stars. 😇

I love this series. It makes me so angry it got cancelled because it is about as perfect as can be. Light hearted, hilarious, badass feminist hero for the win. The use of the visual medium is creative and adds to the humor. It’s surreal in the best way. It also features mer-corgis! Mermaid corgis...need I say more?

These five stars are for Chelsea Cain, Kate Niemczyk and their team. They are not for Marvel. Go fuck yourself, Marvel. Thank you to the team for such wonderful last issues. They may have cancelled you, but the great job you did will always remain. Thank you for giving life and voice to Bobbi, she was incredible, and it was an honour and a pleasure to share these stories. She might be silenced and forced out, but she went with a statement. That is so Bobbi, and from her we learn, and by her ideals (so wonderfully explored in volume I) we stand. Thank you. You will be missed, and one day, and I am fucking sure of this, you will come back.

Mockingbird is AMAZING and the one thing that's actually been fun during Civil War II.

WHY DID YOU CANCEL IT? WHY CAN'T WE HAVE NICE THINGS? A-FORCE AND NOW THIS?

I like that so much of her story revolves around the men in her life but they don't overshadow her.

And I love the shirt.

Everything about this comic is beautiful. So well made. I'm going to miss it.

I frankly found this book to be boring and really ridiculous, at least in the first half. It tries way too hard to be funny and the humor falls flat. The plot is also really ridiculous as well. This is barely any action and you don't feel anything for the heroes or villains at all.

Man I wanted this to be great. I love the character and the fresh approach Cain takes here. It is campy and sexual without being exploitative while still tying into the aftermath of Civil War 2 but there should be more to this story. The ending feels rushed and tacked on and the two issues of New Avengers from 2010 are a cold comfort.
