The unique magic system in this book is fascinating, and the dark, almost horror scenes with monsters and fog had me on the edge of my seat. I genuinely cannot wait for the next book to be released!

I did not enjoy this. The writing was mediocre, the plot was not interesting, it took forever to do anything and the romance was just okay. I will not read the next book.

I had a great time reading this book! I will anxiously be awaiting the next book because I need more answers and more of Kiara & our broody commander, Jude.
It was action packed throughout the book but I will say those last chapters… oh my gosh! They had be flipping pages! It definitely left me wanting more (in a good way). We have just scratched the surface & I can’t wait to dive deeper into their stories and into this world.
