This was one of those books I started at midnight, and then stayed up until 4am reading. Oh man was it wild! I couldn’t put it down, literally - I fell asleep with it jn my hands. I woke up and had to finish it. This was such a unique book and it was just so fun, but in a dark way? Hahahah. I loved it though. And I always appreciate a book with Demi rep!

I really enjoyed the book until the two main characters got together and the plot stalled so much. I ended up skipping 5 sex scenes cause it was actually getting annoying to me and I just wanted the book to end. I did like the ending, though. It was cute... In a messed up way lol

DNF very early on. I don’t like thrillers, mysteries or serial killers (how did serial killers become a thing in romances? Even when they are killing the “bad guys”, serial killing is creepy and gross. And it doesn’t sound like this creep was just killing the bad guys

Also, their text conversations were lame. I am not sure why anyone would be compelled to keep up a conversation with that boring dialogue.

This was my first novel by Howl Avery. This felt like a game of Clue in the first half until I finally figured it out. This was less romance and more thriller/mystery to me. However, I did really enjoy it. If you like your MCs unhinged and crazy for each other this one is for you.
