Omg, this was so good. When I read the warnings, I was concerned about reading it, but I decided to try anyway. I was not disappointed, it was so good. Cas and Will are so dysfunctional by themselves, but together they work, they shouldn't, but they do. I kept wondering what would happen next, and it never disappointed me. I 100% recommend this. Definitely, Morally Gray characters, though, and a toxic relationship as well, but so good.

  • This book did not turn out to be what I thought it was.
  • I liked the anonymous message aspect, along with the two MC’s getting to know each other.
  • I do wish their backgrounds were explored more, though. How did Will end up in that small town? What happened to Cas to turn him into a k*ller?
  • I also felt a bit of whiplash going back and forth between Jess, Cass and Bailey, I couldn’t see the reason for this.
  • Despite this, the story was very engaging and I wanted to keep reading. I kept going back and forth with my assumption that Bailey was actually Cas because it seemed too obvious, which was an experience I didn’t expect.
  • Overall, fairly enjoyable book!

A dark tetrad personality w an asphyxiation kink gets w a codependent sadist. This was honestly so f*cked. I enjoyed every second of it. The dual pov really made me feel like I was in their heads (more so than other dual pov books). It was like being the villain in a criminal minds episode. Such a fun read!

I thought I had an idea about what I was getting into. Boy was I WRONG. Will and Cas? Yea, they’re about as toxic as two lovers can be.

This book is dark and twisted and unlike anything I’ve ever read. You would think that a murderer would be the troubling character. But you’d be wrong. Will is such a deeply complex character of manipulation, dominance, and obtuseness. It’s a strange and endearing mix that leaves you feeling off kilter. And Cas, yea, he’s just a needy little bottom who loves being loved. He also love killing.

WILD. Y’all. This book is unreal. It’s a square cluster—you know what—of epic proportions. There’s twists and lies and an entire smorgasbord of feeeeels. It’s suspenseful until the very end and while I feel like we get an HEA, it’s more of a HFN and then some.

Seriously, this one is unforgettable. It’s one of those books you wish you could read again for the first time.
