Okay. This is a good book, but everyone around the protagonist (minus his wife) is dumbed down so everything seems a lot more difficult, so Dave looks smarter and the twist and turns appear amazingly shocking.

A typical murder mystery with an interesting psychological plot twist. I admit I would be freaked out if I got a letter that said “I know you so well, I can guess what number you are thinking” and then inside that envelope is a smaller envelope with the exact number I had guessed. Yep, that would be freaky. A solid 3 stars, but not a series I need to continue.
