Oh its fine. It's just not as good as the other Ms. Marvel books. The characters are there but the story got lost. And it came out lamer than it should have been. Keeping any superhero book believable is going to be a challenge but Ms. Marvel almost always comes across believable so its a loss when it doesn't. Still worth reading. 3.5 of 5.

One of the most poignant and overtly political Ms. Marvel comics complete with familiar characters from earlier issues and Kamala struggling with how to be the hero her city needs.

I really appreciate how she weaves current political commentary in to the stories. it's part of why I collect the trades in hopes that my kids will pick them up and read them when they are older. I also really enjoy learning snippets about Islam, this time Eid.
