This one is definitely better than the first. I actually liked Kailani and Raife, and their stories were more detailed. Their quick fall to love made a lot more sense here and I completely bought it and rooted for it. They were written far better than the characters in the last. The magic was cool, particularly Kailani's.

I still think there's world building missing, but the author did much better with this one and I'll be continuing the series.

A little long winded and felt like going in circles. A lot if 'he loves me, he loves me not, he loves me...' on repeat.
Liked the first book just that bit more but still enjoyable.

Why! Do! They! Talk! Like! This!?

No está mal, el argumento y el ritmo me parecen adecuados para una novela corta, pero lo que más me ha gustado es la química entre los personajes, y la protagonista femenina, buena mezcla de mujer decidida y a la vez no tan segura de sí misma.

Liked this a bit more, wished there was a longer pov of the mmc but it was still good!
