I liked the beginning but it got boring and long so DNF.
I love the concept of best friend who realize that there's more between them, which is why I started reading this book after the badness that was "The Boy Who Sneaks in My Bedroom Window". "Maybe this one's better," I thought. "Writers can improve," I thought... No.
I only got to chapter 4 before I had to stop. It was just too weird. The grammatical errors I managed to overlook (with only minimal cringing, I even got past the weird hickey exchange they had going on (maybe I'm just strange, but I don't make a habit of letting my friends suck on my neck, no matter how close), it was the "Jailbait" thing that really put a stop to my reading. I just... no. Too much.
As I said, I only got to chapter 4, and it's entirely possible that it improved. I just wasn't optimistic enough to push through to the end.

Super cute story again from my fav author!!! ❤️
This could easily have been written as four separate books = Best friend to boyfriend + My weekend in Vegas + I have a stalker + Terrible accident. I felt there was too much going on for these characters. The writing style suited the characters, it came across quite immature and the story was told in the first person from the POV of Riley and Clay who were teenagers. There were way too many hickies in this book though! I enjoyed the overall romance of the story, but there were lots of little niggly things that bugged me.
I listened to the audiobook edition which I received free from the narrator in exchange for an honest review. Andrea did a great job narrating and added to the story with her different characterisations. Giving Riley's step father Davis a British accent explained how some of the British words fit in.

I loved it just like I love all of Kirsty Moseley's books this is everything. Clay is amazing I love him. Oh gosh, Riley was so clueless at first I was like, girl how could you not tell. But after a little she finally understood and everything was good.... sort of the whole stalker situation was kinda crazy it was so interesting to read about. I'm telling everyone in my house oh my gosh she has a stalker. But clay was there to protect her and they Both ended up being okay and lived their happy ever after.

Jesus this book really takes me back to when I just started reading. I was about 13 or 14 I think. I read this book over time a couple of times. I read it again because why not and god it's so childish. You can see it in the way the author writes but I feel like it's perfect for girls that are 14 well excluding the explicit parts. Well, it was for when I read it. Once you grow you see how childish books you used to read were but I somehow don't hate it. I feel love towards it because their books were some of the firsts that I read and it holds a special place in my heart.
Ps, I kept pointing out the red flags in that one guy Blake. Also, many parts of this book make me laugh because it's so ridiculous!

3.5 stars -- but I rounded up b/c I think the half star was lost on grammar/typos. I'm not one of those people that usually cares about that (or else I would not be able to read most of the independent authors I read)...but I read this one on Wattpad, and it felt very much like a first draft that had never been proofread. At times it distracted me from the story b/c it would take me a bit to figure out what she was trying to say (lots of missing periods -- so sentences that were just run on and whatnot). So I'm sure that if Ms. Moseley plans on publishing this at some point, she will have someone proofread it and it won't be nearly this bad.
Now onto the meat! Loved the story...of course I LOVED "The Boy Who Sneaks in my Bedroom Window" as well...and that one had the final polish that I believe this story is missing. There were many similarities between this book and that one, but I'm the kind of reader who doesn't mind that (especially if it worked for me the first time). Otherwise there's no way I could be an avid Harlequin reader, b/c there's only so much originality in those, but I like them anyways.
I found Clay to be absolutely adorable...bit too good to be true? Probably, but do I care? Nope. Riley wasn't quite as likeable as Amber from TBWSIMBW...she could be really frustrating with her jumping to conclusions and hot/cold running. Thankfully once the misunderstandings were cleared up, the relationship between the two of them was fabulous. Thoroughly enjoyed the drama (and I don't mean that in the annoying drama for drama's sake way, I mean the for realz plot elements regarding Blake, etc). Thought Clay's reaction in the hospital was fairly realistic, and loved how that was resolved between those two (wtg Riley -- I knew you had redeeming qualities)! So all in all, it was a Lenore kind of book. Slap some polish on it in the form of typos/grammar, and maybe just clean up the dialogue in a few places and I think you have a winner! It was kind of fun to read a book at this stage, even if it was unpolished...good bones.

The writing is outdated and you can tell it was written by someone young at the time.
The story isn’t overly complicated as it’s best friends to lover, mixed in with a crazy stalker guy.
It’s cute, not smutty and was a book that started on Wattpad almost ten years ago.
The reason I gave it four stars as it reminded me how much I loved reading and it was one of the first books I enjoyed (after Twilight).
Please don’t expect too much from this book though

You can definitely tell this is a Wattpad author. Riley was so frustrating. All of the characters were. It was so bad that it was kinda good but I wouldn't recommend it.
