“You feel like you've lost your path. It's natural to be sad. It's alright to let those feelings wash over you, and give them time to soak into the earth. That's when things start to grow again.”

The Tea Dragon Tapestry is about grief, identity, and passion.

If you were hoping for more character development and plot from The Tea Dragon Society, you’ll find it here :)

I love this cozy little world! This book felt like a nice conclusion, although I would still love to see more since I enjoyed it so much~ I wish we got to see a hibiscus dragon in the story!

The Tea Dragon Tapestry brings all the characters together for a final hoorah. It talks about getting through creative burnout, and about finding yourself after change.
Once again, these books just have the most comforting art style. Once I have a larger bookshelf, I will absolutely buy copies.

A beautiful cosy read, with a focus on finding your feet and coping through grief.
"Everything that happens is part of your wholeness. The sadness, the loss, the hurt, as well as the joy, the love, the friendship -it is all part of your tapestry."

One of my goals this year has been to read more manga and graphic novels. When I saw the Tea Dragon series was available to read on KU, I jumped at the opportunity to read and visualize this pure and wholesome story and art!

I absolutely loved each of these books. They were all very short, interconnected stories that left me feeling at peace and smiling as I finished. What a wonderful found family full of diversity and inclusivity. I immediately recommended this to a few people after finishing, because I need more people to read it! It was so tender and sweet, and the storyline had me hooked! I loved getting to learn more about the character and the history of the tea dragons.

Greta, Minette, Rinn, Aedhan, Erik, Hesekiel, and all of the tea dragons hold a special place in my heart. I’m tearing up right now just thinking about them. 🥹🫶🏻 Overall, this is a story about the power of friendship and loving people and giving them space to be themselves.

Some quotes that will stick with me:
🐉 “Just because something comes easily to you, does not mean it has no value.”
🐉 “You feel like you’ve lost your path. It’s natural to be sad. It’s alright to let those feelings wash over you, and give them time to soak into the earth. That’s when things start to grow again.”
🐉 “When someone is grieving, the best thing you can do is to let them heal on their own, and show them that you’ll be there for them.”

Highly recommend these sweet and wonderful graphic novels!

oh wow. not me tearing up because of a childrens' book.

ok but in all seriousness, the main issues discussed in this book resonate so much with my current situation. i also feel kinda lost at life right now and i wish i could find the answer to my problems the same way these characters did but i don't think that's possible. however, it was really nice to read about them having the same worries as i do.

additionally, it was also nice that this book gave closure to all the main characters in the two first books (ps: rinn looks gorgeous as an adult omg). it's nice how some of their worries were interconnected and they all somehow helped each other to get through their problems.
i also like how this book focused more on grief in all its forms: greta's little tea dragon grieving her last owner, minette feeling homesick for the person she used to be... and how even though sometimes it may take a lot of time for you to get over that grief, at the end of the day you just have to let yourself feel it until you start feeling happy and capable of finding your own path again.

so so so sweet, i hope someday it becomes an animated series or movie so i can watch it <3
