Read for work. Wow this is really poorly written. The fable concept is obviously to make it palatable to people that mainly read LinkedIn posts in their free time, but fuck that was rough.
Great lessons in a boring story. Key take-aways for me are that people follow people, they do not follow ideas. Don't waste time avoiding conflicts. Or like Logen from another great management fable says "Once you've got a task to do, it's better to do it than live with the fear of it."
Some interesting observations about group dynamics in a parable setting. Painful when applied to settings you know.

I'm generally not a fan of business books but I would consider this a must-read for people working in groups. It was easy to see the dysfunctions on my existing data warehousing team and as we are in the process of adapting the Scrum Agile methodology, our dysfunctions are being brought to the forefront.
I read this for our business analyst book group and plan to recommend it to our upper management for reading and implementation.
