Love the Nash brothers but didn't really know what to expect with Spencer...the quiet Nash brother!! How he ended up with nasty Amelia is anyone's guess but Grace is her total opposite. My heart broke for him with his feelings of rejection and his decisions around that. Love the catching up with Lincoln and Grayson and seeing more of Asher...and thankfully less if their father!! Lovely read.

There are 4 Nash Brothers, Lincoln, Grayson, Spencer, and Asher. We have had amazing stories about Lincoln, Grayson, and now Spencer which its hard to pick a favorite because they are each have been amazing in their own ways. We have yet to see if Asher will grow up and be the man, the woman he falls for, needs him to be.

Back to Spencer and Grace, while he was engaged to her sister, they became close friends. They were able to hang out and do things together that allowed them to grow close. When they wake up married they make the most of it, but quickly realize that the fake marriage isn't as fake as they believed. I love how easily the Nash family accepted her even under the circumstances of which they got married. You will have to read for yourself to experience the hilarity, guilt, and the family love.

I did not like Ameilia, Grace's sister, she is a horrible person. I was glad in the end because karma finds her. All the mean tricks that she tried to pull on Spencer and Grace to push them apart so that she could "win" their family legacy. I mean how could you do that to your sibling/family?

I really liked the relationship between Grace and Spencer, even being apart during the season he trusted her. I really feel like their friendship helped create that trust between them before there was romance thrown in there. I wouldn't say that this was a fast paced book, but it was between fast and medium but it was perfectly paced. The situation going on is complicated, and while she was quickly accepted into the Nash family, her family already loved him and he fit in seamlessly which was nice to see. I really loved Grace and Spencer together, I hope you do as well, and I can't wait to see what is in store for us next.

Received ARC in exchange for voluntary honest review from Lisa Suzanne and Valentine PR.

Solid 3.5 stars- maybe even 3.75. I enjoyed learning more about the shocking twist at the end of book 1 where Grayson got the call that his brother's wedding was off. I liked Spencer and Grace. I liked their background. Their slow burn for each other that would have never come to fruition if things hadn't happened in their favor. What I had a hard time with was the drawn-out plot involving Grace and her sister Amelia, who is also Spencer's ex fiancé. That was hard for me to connect to and that made the third act breakup even harder for me. I did like the way that the fake scenario for Gracie and Spencer turned real pretty fast. I also enjoyed the several extra spicy scenes- especially the tied up one. I had to fan myself a little bit there. I liked Spencer's family and how these characters had help recognizing who they were to each other since they were up in their heads for a minute.

Grace has kind of been pining over her sister's now ex fiance for forever. She was the one who was supposed to meet Spencer at the bar that fated night forever ago, but of course he ended up going home with Amelia, her sister. The louder of the two of them. The one who seems to always get what she wants now matter the consequences. Well it seems those consequences have caught up to her because Spencer is single and Grace doesn't know what to do with new information she has. She decides to be impulsive and flies out to Vegas to talk to Spencer in person. One thing leads to another and they walk up married. The agreed they would do this for one year so that Grace can become owner of her family's vineyard. What they did not agree to was making their fake relationship real but things start shifting pretty quickly. Grace starts realizing that she could get used to Spencer in her bed on a regular basis. She could get used to the way he worships her body. She could get used to the way he looks at her. But her life is in Minnesota, and he was just moved to San Diego. And now that Amelia knows that they are married, all bets are off. Will Grace and Spencer stand the test of time and distance? Adding in the elements of the paparazzi getting wind of their story- will they be able to hang on to the love that they feel for each other? Or will it truly only last one year like they originally agreed?

Spencer is at a weird point in his life. He broke off his engagement and is now finding out how big of a psycho his ex is. He has been let go from his team of 8 years and is now moving to San Diego where he knows no one. His careful plan is crumbling. It crumbles further when he wakes up married to Grace, his ex's sister. The one whose friendship he has always cherished. He never really thought of more with her but now that they are in this situation he finds himself unable to think of anything else. He wants to explore this thing that is growing between them. He knows that there will be trials coming up. I mean they don't even live in the same city but now that they have both declared their feelings for each other all will be well. Or will it? Add in a crazy ex, the press and his teammates and the pressure he is now feeling is tremendous. He also is not recognizing his wife because of how much she is caving under her circumstances. Maybe it would be best if they just end after the year they agreed. But then why does that thought alone crush him?

I liked the pacing in this book. I found myself REALLY rooting for Grace and Spencer to work while also screaming for something terrible to happen to Amelia (kind of kidding but not at the same time). I am enjoying this series so far and am looking forward to see who snagged Archer's attention??

Lisa Suzanne always delivers a great story and characters, and Wedding the Wide Receiver is another great addition to her work. She's quickly become one of my auto-read authors.

I absolutely adored Grace. She was such a loving and compassionate character and the complete opposite of her horrid sister, Amelia. They way she felt for Spencer, even before the wedding was so heartwarming that I was instantly cheering for her to win.

Spencer is not your average NFL superstar. That man has depth and character and isn't afraid to feel and show emotions. Grace and he were the perfect match and balanced each other so well. Lisa Suzanne did a fantastic job taking us through their relationship journey. They shared such a deep connection from friendship to love, and all the sweet and spicy moments in between.

I know I can always count on Lisa Suzanne to deliver a story that will suck me in from beginning to end and characters that I will fall in love with and root for an HEA. I love getting so engrossed in a book that I don't want to put it down and Wedding the Wide Receiver was that for me.

Looking forward to more of the Nash brothers and all that comes with them.

୧ ׅ𖥔 ۫ Thank you to valentine pr for giving me an arc ⋄ 𓍯

ִ ࣪𖤐 Grace works her family’s business, a vineyard. She’s always wanted to work there. Spencer is a football player. He’s having some troubles at work though. After Grace tell Spencer her crazy idea.. things get interesting

࣪𖤐 Grace is such an amazing friend & tries to be a good sister as well, even if her sister isn’t an easy one. Grace finds some information Amelia was withholding & she takes it into her own hands to ensure that the vineyard truly becomes hers. She’s been dreaming of the vineyard ever since she’s been a child & compared to her sister, she’s put work & effort into it.

࣪𖤐 Spencer is good guy, you can tell he cares for Amelia, Grace’s sister & Grace as well. He’s a guy who likes his peace & a strategy for life. Unfortunately for him he gets let go of from his team. He does find a new one, which is what he needed in that moment of his life.

࣪𖤐 I kinda liked the story. I have mixed feelings. Some parts I really enjoyed & others where I was left unsure of what I felt. I don’t really enjoy the siblings ex trope. I liked the characters, they felt like real people since they had their issues.

࣪𖤐 Reading this book made me feel bad for Grace, her sister is such a bitch. I loved her bond with Spencer though!! You could tell they cared about each other. I liked the fact that they actually liked each other as friends before falling in love! I do enjoy a good friends to lovers trope hehe.

After reading “The Coach” and “Dating the Defensive Back” by Lisa Suzanne, I knew “Wedding the Wide Receiver” had to be at the very top of my TBR list! I was counting down the days for Spencer’s story, and let me tell you, it did not disappoint—this book absolutely delivered!

Grace and her sister Amelia are locked in a sibling rivalry that’s anything but ordinary, and things get even more intense with the family vineyard on the line. When Grace finds out that Amelia cheated on her ex-fiancé, Spencer, she makes a bold move and proposes marriage to him to fulfill the conditions of her grandmother’s will. What starts as a pact between friends to secure Grace’s inheritance soon ignites into something much more as they explore the passions that have been simmering beneath the surface.

But of course, Amelia isn’t about to sit back quietly—she’s furious and determined to stir up controversy, using social media and any means necessary to undermine Grace and Spencer at every turn. Now, Grace faces a heart-wrenching decision: will she choose the man she’s falling for or let her rivalry with Amelia consume her?

“Wedding the Wide Receiver” is everything I’ve come to love about Lisa Suzanne’s sports romances—passionate, intense, and utterly unputdownable. This book is a knockout, and it’s officially set a new standard for all sports romance novels!

When a revenge pact, turns marriage of convenience, turns “omg did we get drunk and get married in Vegas last night?!” ends up being the best thing that ever happened to Gracie and Spencer, tensions rise, angst turns way up, and the connection is undeniable.
Gracie and Spencer’s relationship was so beautiful to watch unfold. Two people who have lost all reason to trust find happiness in the person they least expect after Spencer’s engagement to Gracie’s sister falls through and Gracie swoops in to take her place.
Hijinks and banter ensue for these friends realize they just may be soul mates in book 2 of the Nash Brothers series!

Spencer Nash should’ve been hers, but her wicked sister got in there and beat her to him, so Gracie Newman had to settle for friendship, until Spencer finally saw through Amelia and dumped her, round about the same time he was dumped by his team.  Somehow, Gracie ends up in Vegas where she meets up with Spencer only to find that mustard + Benadryl + tequila = a quickie wedding.  Yep, Spencer and Gracie wake up married and since being married for a year would benefit Gracie, gentleman Spencer volunteers to stay her husband.

Wedding the Wide Receiver was an easy read with fantastic characters and a strong storyline as two friends found themselves married for the all the wrong reasons but gradually fell in love after agreeing to give things a go despite the many obstacles in their path like living in different states and not forgetting the bride’s troll of a sister who was determined to split them up by any means possible so that she could steal the family vineyard away from Gracie.  This leads to them taking sibling rivalry to a new level but in doing so Gracie didn’t see that her actions were pushing Spencer away.  She couldn’t see that he wanted to know he came first to her so does the only thing he can think of to protect his heart and pushes her away.  I loved the development of Spencer and Gracie’s relationship.  They were already friends, so it was easy for them to slide into love but harder for them to work at it especially when Gracie had tunnel vision when it came to the vineyard but as she found out sometimes you have to lose something to make you realise just how much you value it.

Well this was fun!

This is the second book in the Nash Brothers series, but can be read as an interconnected standalone. The story is told in dual pov and follows our FMC, Grace and MMC, Spencer. Spencer is the ex boyfriend of Grace’s older sister. Grace is seeking her inheritance to her family’s winery but she must fulfill the terms and conditions of marriage in order to gain access to it. Insert meet up with a friend & wild drunken night in Vegas, and y’all know the rest….

Family and exes are normally a hard no for me and girl code a strong yes. However, I was not sad about this union after getting the deets and learning the full story.
There is more to the story than meets the eye. It’s MESSY! But I’m not gonna spill tea, you’re gonna have to read it to find out. 😜

Featured Tropes:
🩷Marriage of convenience
🩵Sister’s ex
🩷 Vegas Wedding
🩵Alpha athlete with a side of nerdiness
🩷Friends to lovers
🩵Sibling Rivalry

I enjoyed the writing and banter. The storyline was interesting, the characters were entertaining and the relationship development was sweet and heartwarming. As usual, Lisa writes some good steam and the love scenes did not disappoint. Overall, I liked this read. I can’t wait for book #3!

It's all thanks to Benadryl, Tequila, & Elvis.
This story is a lot of fun but it's also frustrating. Grace's sister is such a slimy, conniving, heinous wench that is wreaking havoc on Grace's and Spencer's lives that I was just dying for karma to get to her any minute.
This was a drunken Vegas marriage for the ages! Proof that what happens in Vegas doesn't always have to stay in Vegas.

There is a link for a bonus epilogue that takes place a year later. A cute little capping to Grace & Spencer's love story.

Great read!!
