Pretty good short story filled with terror. The last section of this was perfectly gory with an end that we’ve seen before but still manages to chill the bones

Perfectly disturbing short horror story

While there were parts that seemed repetitive, I think it may have been intentional. The story reads as the panicked thoughts of the main character and the repetitive thoughts added to the authenticity of the racing mind of someone held against their will. This story started off dark and took a darker turn very quickly. It also left enough questions to make me want to know more about the villain, and intrigued to read the 2nd book to learn more about him!
