Grumpy small town hero meets runaway bride! 

This had all the tropes I love grumpy vs sunshine, ‘touch her and you die’ alpha hero, secret millionaire fake dating, enemies to lovers/frenemies, runaway bride, single parent and found family! 

At first I thought the story might be a little far fetched with the whole evil twin… but I ended up devouring this book within a day! 

The only reason this book wasn’t 5* was because of the random name choices Waylay/Waylan, Nash (kept thinking of Dennis and gnasher) and the authors obsession with using the word milking. 

However I just loved everything else about this book and just was left wanting more!

This was an amazing read and I loved the character growth. We get to follow along and connect with the FMC as she faces the many problems caused by her sister and saves herself and her niece. The MMC is the perfect example of a strong, supportive partner who feels overwhelmed and scared but eventually recognizes the error of his words and actions. Absolutely loved every second.

There is so much in this book that normally puts me off … but this book was just the right kind of guilty-pleasure, kinda trashy read I needed.
