A fast-paced and easy read with a fun and interesting plot. It definitely wasn't the best romance I've ever read, but it was fun and really enjoyable! I will definitely check out the next book in the series.

3.5 BBs Stars.

One of the funniest reads of this year! It's so meta, and I love it for that.
So this book is basically the definition of the feminine gaze. All the characters are so obviously written by a woman, as stated in the book: Romance novels for women by women, which is a bit faulty logic, but it was concluded by a group of men trying to get their partners back, so I'll let it slide.

The Bromance Book Club is about a couple having major communication problems. They both make mistakes, have their flaws, and live the consequences of having moved too fast too young.
I enjoyed how the book has an unconventional couple at the forefront; it was an interesting and welcome change; I don't think I've ever read a romance book where the characters had children -at least, together- before. This added a lot to their personalities and made the stakes higher, which I love.

ALSO, the book club. THE BOOK CLUB. Great idea, great execution 10/10. It is unique and fun, and just overall is a great idea to have a bunch of guys trying to save their friends' relationships with books. Like, count me in.

However, even with all this fun, the book wasn't perfect; some bits felt way too repetitive and boring. Some jokes didn't land well. The pacing was wobbly at parts; the immaturity became a little too annoying sometimes. Yet, even with all its flaws, our love was enough, wink wink.

Overall, if you like second chance romances, you'll enjoy this book. It was a great company during a car trip to vacation -it just feels like a beach read, really- and I'll be checking the rest of the series out. I am especially excited about the second book of the series because, uh, Mack and Liv? They were my favorites throughout this book, and now you're telling me they have their own sequel? Let me just go get it.

Great Concept

Love the book club for men.

Books help us grow and learn about ourselves like Gavin and Thea do.

Can't wait to dive into the next one.

✨ Marriage is hard! Gosh, I can relate to Thea & Gavin. Working on any relationship takes patience, trust, and love. “The Bromance Book Club” does a great job of exploring the ups and downs in relationships. Chapter twenty-nine really hit me hard when Thea finally confronted her father. The core message of this book is important and I’m glad to have read it. ☺️✨

I am not a huge romance reader I usually prefer thriller books but OH MY GOSH I loved this book. Every character down to the two little twin daughters is well written. I loved the little comedic moments in the book between the guys. There is also a good a mount of sex scenes in this book which you may like but I don’t, so that’s the only reason I didn’t give it a perfect 5. Overall great read! I still think about this book a year later I loved it so much.
