Cliche awful
There were some standout funny moments - but DUDE. I wanted to pull my hair out. It. Was. SO. BAD.

Loved every minute, It was tense, romantic, great banter, Zane is a level 20 hottie, what more could I ask for. We know how I love a zany female lead (self-inserting anyone?), and Abs was so amazing. I honestly left feeling a bit inspired about myself, instead of lonely at being single like I usually do when I finish one this good.

2.5 It’s a meh for me. Kinda cute, but predictable. A big zero on the spice scale. Not even a small hint of spiciness, so more like -10. The description of being a ‘nerdy girl’ got annoying. Felt very name-droppy and cliché, piling up as many references as possible to ‘prove’ she was a nerd. ‘She’s a nerd, so that means she’s into computers and coding, DC comics, Marvel, Harry Potter, LOTR, Stranger Things, NCIS, Star Wars.’ Felt inauthentic and forced. Was trying hard. The ‘Dr. Love’ letters throughout the book where A) super random B) didn’t really add anything to the story. C) more often than not, Dr. Love gave horrible ‘relationship advice.’ How did that shite get this side character a six figure advance book deal??
