I loved this book so much but I loved the other books in the series better đ I love Feyre I think she is such a great character. I overall love how Sarah wrote the world building and the plot definitely kept me on my toes.

Just like any other fantasy book you would read like with the violence and the blood I donât romance but this was fine there is smut and cussing so probably nut appropriate for under seventeen year olds.
Gets a lil more entertaining in the last 1/3 but wow the writing is bad. Characterization- who is she? Showing not telling? Donât know her. Infodumps and redundant spoonfeeding. I said what I said
It was like Beauty and the Beast and a little bit of Twilight, but without the hidden Mormon purity culture and a lot more gore. It was enjoyable and easy to read and the world that was built was at least interesting and different. Something I appreciated is I couldnât even guess the plot twists. I knew something deeper was happening but once it was revealed I never had a âI knew itâ moment. I seriously thought the last person on the last task to be revealed was Lucien and I was wrong. It was refreshing because 8/10 I can guess and piece âtwistsâ and endings together.
I will say itâs lacking diversity outside of random fae being blue or red skin toned. I made a whole bunch of characters Black and Brown because if not me then clearly not this author. And after reading a very queer-centric series Iâm disappointed in the lack of queer relationships. 3.5 would be more accurate.
