It was so so bad I want to give it 0 stars but I can't so I'll give it a 1.
Where do I even start with this.
Everyone was so annoying in this book. I literally didn't like anyone.
Ashley was so judgemental and stupid. She seemed so fun in the first chapter but then she got all these insecurities and just became so annoying. She decides to work in an exclusive strip club but judges everyone there like girl isn't doing the same job. Shes literally so rude to everyone with the pretense that she isn't someone that's weak and takes shit from people when really she's just a bitch.
I really hate to shit on women, I really do but like there was no excuses for her behaviour. She was also selfish as fuck. She doesn't tell Cameron that she has a kid and then expects him to just roll with it when he finds out. That's like a huge part of your life, that's a definite deal breaker. She also then got angry at Cameron because he obviously got mad??? My girl was so delulu.
Let's not even talk about Cameron. He was so entitled and arrogant, not to mention controlling. He grew up rich and privileged, didn't have to struggle a day in his life and judges a single mother for doing what she can. He thinks that he can just buy Ash with money and its so annoying of him. He's also toxic asf and manipulative. His family isn't any better.
I hate how all the male characters talk about women in this book. Why were they calling girls bitches and stuff. Not to mention josh has a wife and he's still checking out these girls, the same goes for Cameron. He's also quite honestly a shitty father.
Whenever he got mad, he would yell at Owen. He also spoils him and puts him against his own mother. The kid is only 4 and Cameron is teaching him how to skateboard... I don't even know what to say about this. Not to mention how he was judging how he only had 2 pairs of shoes? Like is that not normal? Growing up, I had a nice pair of shoes and one for just normal activities. That's just normal behaviour and yet Cameron acts like that's something outrageous. Like sorry we're too poor for you.
He's exactly why people say eat the rich. He's the embodiment of everything I don't like in a person. It's okay to be rich but he always seemed to be rubbing off his wealth on other people's faces.
Ash and cam relationship was also toxic as hell.
I saw this series on tiktok of this girl ranking book couples on whether they're doomed or have a happy life and these 2 would definitely have a loveless marriage.
Not to mention the plot was filled with holes and unnecessary drama. There's just so much wrong with this book like don't even pick it up, don't even bother looking at it.
If I have to say something that I did like was that this book was addictive. Like I could not put it down because so much was going on and it was just crazy.
Still, this doesn't compensate for the fact that I hated every word in this.

this book pissed me off, their relationship is off after h confessing that she have a son w H, and h is freak, she know that she didn't like her job, she just dont want to resigned from her job bcz she dont want H to win. Why i read this after Mr.Masters?!! my expectation is too high and this book dropped me down.im so sorry.
Wow, there was a twist that I did not see coming! This book was sexy and also heartbreaking. I really enjoyed it up until the end. There were some disappointing moments from the characters that irked me.
First of all, I hated the whole "keeping her son hidden" part. That just sucked.
Next thing I hated was that Cameron acted like everyone had to know his whole family and remember him because he is so memorable apparently.
Ashley was just irritating with her back and forth decisions.
The bit around the middle then they had rougher sex? That felt unsafe.
It's not that easy to recognise French from German, people.
Cameron was pushy, and not in that sexy book boyfriend way, but in a cornering Ashley when his family was next to them way. And making her quit her job? Really? He made every single thing about sex. Oh and how he talked to his own mother? I'm not besties with mine but that's how you threaten someone not announce you have a girlfriend.
This book was all over the place and the relationship felt kinda toxic and...the way he reacted to her telling him about Owen? What actual person reacts that way?
I stopped reading at around 65-70% because this book is a horrible.

I’m not a fan of this book. Honestly, both MCs fell flat. The Dr, whom I had high hopes for, wasn’t pleasing at all. Ashley came off as a horrible mother. I hate to say that, but it’s how I felt. Doing the whole mom versus dad while the child is in the middle isn’t for me.
