Almost have a 3.5. Liked this one better than the first up until the end. So many chances to make it good and it fell short. Disappointed with the ending but the rest of the book was way better than the first in my opinion

Why I put myself to this?💀💀
God this is not like the first one.

The first half of the book I wasn't able to read, was TO MUCH, to much graphic, to much specific, just to much- overall awful. Do not read it seriously. it's not dark romance,it's  just all of the details of a gangue rape.

The second half of the book was basically the first book again. love it.

ADVICE: u do not need to read the first half (0-250pages) of the book to understand the second (250-500pages) so DO NOT READ it seriously. CHECK THE TW.

This book is frustrating because it's entertaining... But also really screwed up. Like... Really screwed up. I don't recommend it.

this is literally just a triggering compilation of trauma and even those without a history of sexual abuse will find this beyond disturbing and a far stretch of what a dark romance is

What a roller-coaster...

I’m going to burn the entire fucking world down until I find her, and I don’t care who gets burnt.

Not gonna lie this was a torture to read 50% of the book are Addie in captivity and Zade losing his mind searching for her. There was some humor in zades chapters but overall this part wasn't a safe ride for my emotions 💀.

She shakes her head. “I don’t even know your last name. Or your birthday.”
I grin. “I’m sorry, I didn’t realize those things were so important.”
“Aren’t we having a heart-to-heart? Plus, you keep threatening me with marriage. Shouldn’t I know your last name?”
“Meadows, baby. Our last name is Meadows.”

The rest of the book was ok. The Smut is awesome just like in the first book but story wise although good it was quite predictable, which made it feel quite bland compared to the first book.

“You’ll always be safe with me, little mouse. Always.”

Anyway zade Meadows didn't disappoint me and although this book didn't meet my expectations the series overall is absolutely great and I'll definitely recommend it.

“Look at me while I ruin you, Adeline.”
Grip harsh, I jerk her face towards mine, capturing her wide caramel pools with my own.
“You will always be mine,” I growl. “Even in your fucking nightmares.”

Enjoy 💀🩸🌹

I thought this book was ok i had major anxiety for really the whole book this was the most anxiety I’ve gotten from any book ever i came so close to dnf this i have this thing where i only like for the main characters to have sex together and be together so when she got kidnapped and they actually raped her i got extremely disappointed i was debating wether i wanted to rate this book a three stars or four stars but i settled for four i guess because the ending I definitely enjoyed haunting adeline over this one by a longgggg shot i did find myself enjoying some parts of this book i also did enjoy meeting sibby again ifykyk i also did like the writing of the book the author told allot of details in situations but not to much to the point where your annoyed but yeah overall i rated this book four stars⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
