Puck Shy was totally different than I was expecting, it was better!! Yes, it's a sports romance, but it also contains geeky flirting, a fun road trip, lots of classic horror movie reference banter (that is perfect for the upcoming holiday), and steamy moments that made my cheeks flame bright!
This was my first Teagan Hunter book and I will be coming back again after this pleasant surprise.
Collin Wright has had a run of bad luck. It's been worse than bad luck, he's been in the wrong place at the wrong time kind of bad luck, but when his car breaks down in the middle of literally nowhere, his luck either may have changed for the better when he almost gets hit flagging down the only driver he's seen for miles, or maybe his bad luck is really about to kill him this time. He is willing to take his chances by getting in her car.
Harper isn't in the habit of picking up strangers, seriously, what woman in her right mind is, but something about Collin says he's not about to murder her. Hopefully. Their meet cute may not be typical, or normally safe, but it is full of great banter, that leads down the path of more.

More fantastically witty banter between Collin and Harper to begin with. These two would normally seem like oil and water, but somehow they fit together perfectly. Harper may just be the good luck charm to Collin's run of bad luck, but more than that he brings her to life. Harper may have been just existing before running into Collin, but these two rejuvenate one another. That is love in a nutshell.
Wait...we are not supposed to say the L word out loud around these two, but seriously, this book is fun and sweet and I really enjoyed the escape.
Puck Shy was a pleasant surprise. I expected the sports aspect of it, but it also held a ton of heart and a lot of laughs. This book was a very enjoyable read. I can't wait to return.

It’s not very often I read a book in one sitting but I started this book, blinked and my Saturday was over ahaha.
Can’t get over the banter between Collin and Harper, for a surprisingly happy book I was not expecting to get my heart broken with only 15% left so I was very relieved when the characters grew some brains
