I absolutely love hockey romances especially when hockey isn’t just a vague part of the book, but actually takes up space in the pages.

Collin is dealing with a not so stellar start to the season when he meets Harper. A chance encounter when she almost runs him off the road turns into a fun ride share, but it is totally clear she has no idea is a real deal NHL star…

After parting ways without any sort of information exchange (major face palm on both sides) it’s another chance encounter of the digital persuasion that has them back in the same orbit.

When he should be focusing on his career, he can’t help but fall deeper into her pull. She is beautiful and funny and he can’t get her out of his head. What ever will they do?

This was so freaking good! Collin is a sexy hockey player with a sweet side and a dirty mouth. And Harper is this quirky and adorable girl who just seems like someone you’d want to know… someone you’d want to be friends with. I adored their story and I LOVED the interaction through text messages. That has annoyed me in other books, but it was the perfect mix in this book.

I really enjoyed this one!

The way Harper and Collin met was so cute and funny. I absolutely loved the banter between these two it was a great mix of fun and flirty. I definitely found myself laughing so many times over the course of the book.

I loved Harper's best friend, Ryan. She was so funny and blunt it absolutely cracked me up. Collin's teammates are also some fan favorites of mine. The way they joked around with each other was great.

The ending was so adorable. I melted a little bit at how much I loved it.

Sin mĂĄs, es rĂĄpido de leer pero no lo recomiendo

I absolutely loved this book. Hockey is my weakness for one, so I was already obsessed before I started, but Harper and Collin made me love this book so much. They’re a great couple, I loved their jokes and their journey together. The writing was super good; I loved the flow and the storyline was not too detailed or boring. The plot was super interesting and read a great story throughout. I almost cried at the recording scene. Collin is such a sweetheart. I LOVE when the guy falls first (they kind of both fell together but he realized and said it first). I wish I could read this again for the first time. Definitely continuing the Carolina Comets series, moving onto Blind Pass right now!
lighthearted medium-paced

Teagan Hunter delivered once again with Puck Shy! As a reader I love that I can pick up one of her books and know that I will be in for some laughter at the sarcasm that her characters have in spades! Harper and Collin are two individuals whose quirks align as does fate not once but TWICE! I loved reading this couple fall for one another and highly recommend this book to anyone who needs a good laugh and a good swoon!

(oh and a certain ranch loving nerd and his leading lady may make a surprise appearance or two.)

It was just a mid tier book, would read again, but not the first one I’d reach for.
