Fun book. I liked the FMC’s unique interest and job, I wish he had been able to see her studio. The redemption arch was a bit rushed and confusing. Looking forward to the next ones though.

3 stars This book was not for me. Collin is an NHL hockey player coming off a rough season. When his car breaks down, he gets a ride with Harper who is a cute horror nerd. They hit it off, but go their separate ways until they match on a dating app and start dating. This book started really strong. I liked how they met and their banter especially when they started chatting on the dating app. The writing just was not for. I thought it was choppy and the characters inner monologue would build up to something only to have them reverse it in a few paragraphs. I also felt the characters didn't have a lot of depth. They drink in every scene and attend a party that seems more like a college party than one late 20 somethings would attend.

I loved the texting, the unique meet cute, and the likable characters. These two have chemistry from the moment they meet, and the mistaken identities, online (second) meet cute, and sexy times only enhanced that. It’s a low angst read that’s easy to devour

AMAZING! This book has it all and is a great read. The main characters meet once then think they are never going to see each other again but oh boy are they wrong. They meet again through an online dating app but the MMC doesn't tell her that they already know each other till they meet at a hockey game.
