Lanie and Dex’s story was an emotional, suspenseful journey and they helped each other heal from their pasts. I loved the way Lanie was protective of Dex’s kids and how he was patient and gentle with her because of her past. I enjoyed their flirty banter and all the grand gestures he did to gain her trust. The narration from Tim Paige and Sophie Daniels was great and I’m looking forward to hearing more from them in the rest of this series.

I absolutely loved this book. Lanie was such an incredible woman giving so much while so broken, it was great to see she got the happily ever after going through everything she did. Dex had such a patience about him and Tate was by far one of favorites, who was so deserving of the love he finally received
