A delightful read, but nothing ground breaking. It was a nice break from spicy romance. A very on brand book for anyone that loves the style of Bridgerton and the story telling of Jane Austen. It’s pretty witty and light.

If you like romantic tension that is built through banter and reading between the lines (crossing a ballroom to rescue the MC from a dangerous conversation, etc.), I highly recommend. The leads were both whip-smart, and seeing their interest bloom subtly through the story was just perfect. Will definitely be picking up more from this author.
