A delightful quick read. All the essentials of a good romance. A clever and strong woman a bitter and war damaged man and lots of twists and turns. The depictions of class and wealth and the divisions and eagle eyes looking for fault make for a pleasant and engaging read.
Nicely written with enough tension on how the plot would be resolved to keep total engagement and a late night read to finish all too soon.

It was a good, lighthearted read and I did enjoy it. I liked the characters and found I could sympathise with them. However, whilst I liked the ending, it did feel as though it ended with a lot of unanswered questions and downplayed reactions by certain characters.
