Would have preferred her to talk to James when Cecily says she’s in love and have him arrange that marriage so that she’s free to do as she wishes and then chooses James.

I really enjoyed this! I liked the main character a lot and was endeared by her love for her sisters. Found myself really rooting for the romance here and actually fully buying into it. The book even made me chuckle at times. It’s well written and a nice easy beach read. Loved the play on words with fortune hunter vs gold digger. This also made me want to watch Bridgerton.
