Best book of the series so far!

More of a 2.5 rating

The historical elements in this novel were actually quite intriguing and sounded very well-researched. Each of Luce's past lives was amazingly lifelike and richly detailed, although I could have done without all the scenery description. So why is my rating so low? Frankly, Luce came across as REALLY childish, indecisive, petulant--to me, she acted nothing like sixteen or seventeen or however old she is; Daniel wasn't much more interesting although it was nice to finally understand his and Luce's curse. Lastly, the plot was EXTREMELY repetitive and the big twist near the end of the novel wasn't even that surprising.

I hate Luce, but I liked the parts with Daniel's POV

luce was insufferable through this entire book. it made me want to quit reading, i don’t remember her being this awful when i read this series years ago, but i will not reread them again that’s for sure.

It's fine.

SOOOOOOOOOOOOO! This book was so far the best one of the series! Who would have known! Luce uses the announcers and with the help of a Gargoyle she goes back to her different lifetimes. We do learn that it's not every 17 years that they meet again. And thank god because otherwise the book would've been as long as the bible. Because yes! We go back through every single lifetime! Or that's what I understood anyway.....

Luce is trying to understand as every life time she sees goes by why Daniel loves her. And after MANY MANY, she finally understands the reason. Wow Luce, I congratulate you for your intelligence, seriously..NOT!

The poor guy tears himself apart each time she "dies" and Luce doesn't get it!! Another reason why I believe that Luce is one of the dumbest and oblivious person in the planet. AAAND another reason why I think why Luce doesn't deserve Daniel At all! But why did I like this book more than the rest? Because somehow Luce's personality made me laugh.... for her stupidity.

Meanwhile...Daniel is chasing her through each lifetime (instead of going to one of the first lifetimes and wait for her there) and suffers each time he sees Luce die....again. And somehow he can speak to other Daniels without freaking out. And somehow present Daniel doesn't remember these conversations. WOW

But still, it was somehow fun to read. And it was the most entertaining one so far. Still, this aint the book of the century

I liked it but at some parts it got repetitive.

All done with this book I found it confusing and jumbled right when you thought the main characters were finguring out everything they hadnt really gotten anywhere it was maddening over all though it was a good book that made me keep on reading because I was so confused and hoped there was a good explanation for everything turns out there really was but there wasnt lol
