La trampa del amor

Lauren Kate

I have to admit that I felt like a total dummy for seeing this book through to the end. Can't believe Luce never figured out that she was traveling through time with the Devil himself and none of the angels or demons put two and two together, either!
It felt like the author thought she'd just see how many different incarnations of these two lovebirds she could put together in different ways throughout history with as little actual plot movement as possible.
Snoozeville.

3.5

Luce would die for Daniel.

And she has. Over and over again. Throughout time, Luce and Daniel have found each other, only to be painfully torn apart: Luce dead, Daniel left broken and alone. But perhaps it doesn’t need to be that way. . . .

Luce is certain that something—or someone—in a past life can help her in her present one. So she begins the most important journey of this lifetime . . . going back eternities to witness firsthand her romances with Daniel . . . and finally unlock the key to making their love last.

Cam and the legions of angels and Outcasts are desperate to catch Luce, but none are as frantic as Daniel. He chases Luce through their shared pasts, terrified of what might happen if she rewrites history. Because their romance for the ages could go up in flames . . . forever.

Sweeping across centuries, PASSION is the third novel in the unforgettably epic FALLEN series.

The next book in the Fallen series. I am still enjoying it and I am looking forward to finishing this series.

It gets boring in the middle...

Total guilty pleasure read... I just can't look away. Daniel and Luce are completely over the top, and I have trouble taking them seriously, but I am intrigued by the set-up of Nephilim, angels, the Fall, etc in the books. I found this third book to be particularly appealing, as both Luce and the reader get to know a lot more about the Fall, some of the key interactions amongst the angels, and some of Luce's previous lives, which circumnavigate the globe throughout time (really interesting - so glad Kate diversified the lives like that!). This ends on a cliffhanger for the next book, so hopefully it delivers answers to all of the remaining questions.

This one was pretty interesting, but I like history so that probably has something to do with it. Luce is semi-annoying and they remind me of Edward and Bella. I'm still trying to decide if that's a good thing or not. All I know is that if they make these books into movies hopefully they get better actors than Twilight - I don't want another awkward Kristen Stewart fiasco, straight up.

You know when you are already invested? This is me. I am going to finish this series

It was hard to follow all the time changes, I think if I read it again I will build a timeline in order to keep it all straight.

Good Lord, that was bad. This series was descent enough, but this last book didn't include any of the aspects that I liked from the books before. It was just awful.

Dit boek leest vlot. Dit is het 3deel uit de series. Het verhaal loopt mooi verder op het vorige deel. Het boek eindigt op een cliffhanger waarbij je de series zeker moet vervolgen.
