This book is the best in its series so far. Even though she might be kind of clingy and blinded by her love. The story itself is really interesting. :)
Den här boken är helt okej. En enda lång jakt och jag börjar undra om de två ens är gjorda för varandra.
Another disappointing continuation of the fallen series. I loved the first book but the 2nd was slow and this one was just endless. I ended up skipping paragraphs to only read the dialogues and no descriptions as the scene descriptions seemed to add no value what so ever. I won't fight through another book and prefer staying in the unknown on how this - initially - interesting storyline unfolds.
This was a re-read and it still missed the mark. This book had a lot of potential and seeing as I love time travel, I was hopeful! We follow Luce through thousands of years worth of past lives where she tries to learn more about her “love” with Daniel. Intriguing, right?!
I’ll be honest, it was super repetitive and I’m mostly disappointed that I’ve learned nothing more about Luce and I STILL don’t love Daniel.
And I fall in love with pretty much every main character, so for me to find Luce super annoying and have no desire for Daniel…. That speaks volumes.
While Bill’s “plot twist” was expected, I still enjoyed him as a character and thought he was a little entertaining.

I love the whole travelling through time to meet the different Luce's aspect of this book, and meeting each version of her and how different each life was. I wish there were more stops in history but I still really enjoyed this book.
This book was definitely better than the first two but it still wasn't super amazing or anything. Also I don't like the way Lauren Kate ends her books for some reason.

My fave part was the jumping though different eras and timelines, also miles and Shelly are my babies <333 I was gonna say that the whole reason I'm giving this 5 stars is because of bill but he turned out to be a traitor so I'll still give the book 5 stars but I'm gonna add that bill can rot in hell (iykyk hehe <3)
I know I am reading a JF nephilim story from 2015 by notorious YA author Lauren Kate who looooves to write a one dimensional female lead who starts off strong and then becomes entirely dependent on the love interest for her personality and none of her books pass the Bechdel test. I know that. BUT!
I had FUN reading the first book. It wasn't a GOOD book but I had fun and I got thru it fast because of that. But as the books carry on, the main character becomes more and more transparent and dependent on the love interest. She went from a decent mc in book one, loud mouth and sassy in the 2015 female protag that is probably a self insert way to.... literally being incapacitated when Daniel, (the love interest), isn't around. She's constantly waiting to be kissed or saved or feel like she's a person.
Yeah whatever their love story spans from the beginning of time and they're fated to always find each other and fall in love but oh my gooooood could you let her develop a personality somewhere in those millenia....
I'm finishing out the series and I'm trying to be patient because I'm reading a 2015 MIDDLE SCHOOL NEPHILIM STORY but from now on ill probably stick to rereading the Cresendo series for a fallen angel love story fix.
Lauren Kate I love you and I will keep reading your stuff but can you please let your women be something without men especially when your books target preteens or young teens amen
