This was really cute! I loved the Cal and Russ, and really enjoyed their banter throughout.
That said...
I just couldn't just past how often they were getting it on with the kids only just off screen! Usually I can suspend reality a bit but I kept internally screaming during the spicy scenes, worrying that the kids would just pop their heads around the corner at any second.
A good read, but not one I'm likely to go back to pick up a second time.

Solid 3 stars
This was a first read from this author for me
It was a solid 3 stars...i liked it but didnt love it .
The kids made it cute as have to say I did not really connect with either MC.
But the enemies to lovers storyline flowed well.

The Falcon and the Foe by AJ Truman is probably one of my favorite reads this year. I devoured this one and finished it in a day. Cal and Russ are two single, gay older dads and cannot stand each other; but must work together (begrudgingly), to co lead their son’s scout troop. I fell in love with both separately and together. I enjoyed seeing this enemies to lovers' story progress. What stood out is that these characters have layers, their backgrounds helped me understand, connect, and appreciate them. I genuinely laughed throughout this book several times and as things heat up, well the spice was spicy! I did not realize this was part of a series and I fully intend to read the rest. I really loved AJ’s style of writing and cannot wait to read more. Definitely check this one out!

A very average palette-cleanser book. It was funny, and I quite liked the characters. It's a very nice lighthearted book.
Just one thing and a TW: be aware that this book has references to HP. Authors, do better!

The book has HP references.
Just like every A.J. Truman book I read this one was amazing! I love the dual POV to get inside the sweet (and sometimes dirty
