Viv the orc has decided to hang up her sword and instead follow her dream and open a coffee shop. That hardly anyone knows what coffee is seems to be only one of Viv's problems.

A sweet and cozy fantasy! It reminds me in many ways of TJ Klune's books, and that's a good thing. I especially love the found family vibes, together with the lovely characters. We get to meet a lot of different species; orcs, succubus and gnomes, to name a few. We also get a touch of queer romance!

I have a paperback copy of my own, but have mostly been listening (narration by the author, which I always like). It's good to have a physical copy to see the spelling of names, or when something feels a bit confusing. Maybe it was just a tad bit too predictable; a surprise or two would have been nice!
