One of the best police procedural series out there. Most series get boring after a while, but this one has not. Great characters, as usual. I loved Moss getting her chance to lead. It was nice to see some of Erika’s past.
Another cracking book in this brilliant series. This one focuses on the murder of a beautiful burlesque dancer who is found outside her house in a London suburb. The plot is gripping and fast moving. Robert Bryndza is a great writer who really knows how to ramp up the tension. Erika Foster is a wonderful character. I love her grit and determination to catch the baddies, but love her softer more vulnerable side too.
Excellent narration by Jan Cramer.

Another belter from Robert Bryndza! Number 6 in the Erika Foster series and still going strong. The team are back together, investigating the murder of Marissa, a young woman found dead on Christmas day. Rather than have Christmas lunch with her boss, Erika prefers to take charge of the enquiry. Who is the mysterious man in the gas mask and why is Marissa's neighbor following them around with a camera? Fantastic book in a fantastic series

I love this series, each book gets better and better. I love the characters and I really appreciate getting to know them all a bit better with each story in the series.
In this novel, Kate Moss gets her chance at leading the team when Erika has to go away to help her father-in-law. The case is a complicated one, and there are very few leads.
I was in the dark as to who the murderer was right until the very end and was very surprised when the killer is revealed. To me, this is the way a good suspense novel should read. If I can't guess who the bad guy is, I am way more invested in the story.
I very much look forward to the next novel in the series...

Best one in the series so far. Lots of twists and turn and the ending was so surprising. Love the character of Erika Foster. Roll on the next book!

Writing is so-so. Crimes are fascinating and the whodunnit part is skillful. But Erika, Moss, Peterson…their dialogue and the characters are stale. I really want to like Erika. I want her character and dialogue to do the crimes justice. Just not happening.
