I thoroughly enjoyed this b*tch! As a hockey romance lover and having read the previous book, I decided to give this one a chance and I am so glad I did! Book is basically about a hockey player (our MMC) who is threatened by his coach to watch over his daughter and keep her out of trouble or else he would f*ck with his future career and chances in the NHL. And he does, by basically unintentionally stalking our FMC. I don't want to give out too much, but know that the book was worth the read. It is slow burn, but the tension is there and when the actual smut happens it is f*cking on point! Highly recommend if you're in to hockey romance, slow burn, true chemistry between the MCs, some unintentional stalking and some nice quality smut! So go ahead and read this b*tch!

This is a Coach's daughter hockey romance where Aasher is tasked with keeping an eye on Riley and making sure that the rest of the team knows that she is off limits. Riley also can't stand hockey players so this should be an easy task right?
This was such a fun read and although I'm typically not the biggest fan of a slow burn, this was done really well. Riley has her reasons for not liking/trusting hockey players and Aasher is irritated yet focused on the task of "babysitting" Riley since half of his team is trying to hook up with her. But the longer Riley and Aasher spend time together, the closer they get and I feel like their budding friendship that turned into romance made their relationship that much better.

*ARC Review*
I really enjoyed Ice Bet! This was my first time reading a book from SJ Silvis, and I definitely plan on reading more from her! I have always been a sucker for Hockey Romances, and this was no different. The timing of receiving this ARC was perfect since Hockey season just started and I am all in this season since the Blackhawks got Connor Bedard. I just finished reading two Romantasy books so this was a nice break from the world-building of those. I was immediately engrossed in the book...I read it in only 3 days!
The banter in this book between Aasher and Riley was SO good. I loved Aasher so much. He was kind and caring and oh so protective of Riley. I loved how much depth his character had, and how we learn more and more about him as the story goes, that just makes you fall even more in love with him. In the beginning of the book, I saw a little bit of myself in Riley, with her love for books and staying home to read. I loved Riley’s wild side and the part of her that could hold her own and show the guys who was in control. This story was beautifully written, and I can truthfully say there was nothing I would have changed about Riley and Aasher’s story.
If you love Hockey Romances, this book is definitely for you!

I really enjoyed Weak Side so I am so thankful to have received an ARC of Ice Bet!
Riley is a figure skater and the Hockey Team’s coach’s daughter. The coach asks Aasher to watch out for her, but of course there were sparks. She’s sworn off dating hockey players and Aasher can’t try anything because she’s his coach’s daughter.
I liked how protective Aasher was over Riley. He supported her I’m getting back on the ice. I think I liked this one even better than the first! I definitely recommend picking this one up when it releases!
