4.5* With a title like this, how could I not check it out when it became available from the online library! Please note that the hooker in this case is a rugby position, similar to that of an American football quarterback. This was a fun book, silly, steamy in places and funny. I think I actually laughed out loud more than once. I'm pretty sure the narrator was the same as on The Rosie Project and I like his narration. I might see what else is available from this author next time I am in need of a fun, light read.

So good!!!!! Review to come at www.fictionvixen.com

Loved it

This was breath of fresh air that captivated me from the first word and held my attention until the end. I loved the chemistry between the two love birds and thoroughly enjoyed being introduced to Rugby. Most of the men seem to be fine as hell so this was a real treat.

4 funny stars.

This book had me laughing so hard!

We meet the introverted Annie Catrel, who has a secret double life in which she is an extremely brash and outspoken. The outlet for this double life is her blog which have loads of followers.
One day Annie post a picture of rugby player Ronan Fitzpatrick and he is less than pleased.

Life happens and he ends up having an appointment with a social media expert who turns out to be Annie. Of course, Ronan has no idea that she is the 'Socialmedialite' that he has a vendetta against....

This book was well written and very, very funny.
Read it... NOW!

3.5/4 stars.

The writing in this novel was witty & fun. The shy hermit & the cocky Rugby hooker turned out to be the perfect pair. Ronan is the perfect mix of bad boy & sincere heart throb. Annie was hilarious, though she did drive me a little nuts every time she pushed Ronan away. Overall, a fun, sexy read.

Gracious, I ended up loving this book. When I thought it was going to be a meh-read about a somewhat standard story between a tough alpha sport god and a frumpy blogger, it turned out to be a compassionate take on social anxiety and the interesting world of celebrity reputation management. When I thought it was going to devolve into a sexy time, screw their brains out forget the plot type of story, the narrative turned into a sweet love story featuring one of my favorite plots - the unknown correspondent. And when I thought the story would wind down into how does this person adjust to celebrity life when she just wants to be an average joe, the story came up with some real stakes and a big commitment. The audio version featured great male and female narrators too. Love this one.

This book had me at eclairs, what people do for that pastry treat:

In true Penny Reid style the fun and sarcastic interactions had me giggling like a schoolgirl. I have struggled with some of Penny Reid's books, they have all had that humour but I found myself getting bored quickly. I think this partnership with L.H Cosway added just the right ingredient to keep me interested. I think it helps a lot when you like the main characters of a book, I really liked Ronan and Annie from the start.

So what do these two have in common?? When looking from the outside they have nothing in common, dig a little deeper and they are two people looking to be understood and loved both having suffered forms of rejection.

Annie and Ronan struggle through little roadblocks on their way to a HEA. Social media, exes, neighbours and Ronan's mum all caused problems. Their journey for me was fun, funny and very enjoyable.

Go out and have a drink. Talk to a guy. Let somebody fuck you. You’ll be amazed by what clearing those cobwebs can do for your frame of mind.

Ronan was so sweet and must have had the worst case of blue balls through most of this book. He powered through though making it that much more funnier, for me he was the perfect Hero for this book.

Confession: I am a book slut, I like 'sex' in my books and I ain't afraid to admit it. It is one of my pet hates that in Rom-com's they tend to be more 'G' rated in comparison to other genre's. I love a good rom-com so it gets to me but with this one it didn't bother me so much. It did help that there was sexual innuendo spoken and acted out throughout the book and a couple of heavy petting scenes with one great car scene.

Time was not my friend while reading this book. I’m working my way through Penny’s books. I’d read a few scenes on nook & main and knew that this was going to be good. It was!!! Annie and Ronan are a dynamic couple who’s main obstacle is fear. I prefer stories in which the conflict is between the couple and not outside of them.

Hey perv -- it's about a hooker in rugby. Not the other kind of hooker . And I did sort of like this book -- yet I HATED the male lead. He's supposed to be a rough-mannered jock with a heart of gold. But, when he first meets the heroine, he basically assaults her in an elevator. That was pretty hard to get past. The ick factor was a bit too high
