Twisted Love

okay okay okay this book made me like Dean, there I said it 🙈. (he’s still awful in Damaged Goods but atleast in this book & Broken Knight he’s sweet)
I am pissed that we went through all that drama with him, Vicious & Emilia for nothing honestly because Dean never loved Emilia. poor Rosie was just trying to save Dean from a heartbreak and all our hearts broke for her and what she thought she had to deny herself.
I already thought Broken Knight was the saddest book in the All Saints High series and now that i’ve read this book and know the WHOLE backstory it just makes it 10 times sadder.
can’t believe i’m saying this but Dean & Rosie may be my favorite (ah who am I?)

4 stars

I’m not even sure how she got me to like it but she did. I loved it. Couldn’t put it down and didn’t want to.

L.J. Shen is a wonderful author. Her words flow nicely, the story line grabs you from the beginning and doesn't drag or slow down.
Dean and Rosie have been in turmoil with their relationship for years. They finally try and get it together and there are so many pitfalls and sidelines to it, that your heart breaks for these lovers.

When you think of the Hotholes, you either cringe in fear or shiver in lust. It's one or the other.

Dean is the stoner play boy. Hiding behind the misconceptions of others, he is the underestimated one of the bunch. But he is also the one who confronts Vicious the most. If you wondered before about the half baked hottie, you will soon learn nothing is as it seems.

History, the past, yesterday- whatever you feel like labeling it- is about to roll over. Dean is not waiting anymore. The past is behind him. Previous relationships don't matter. No what matters now is Baby LeBlanc. He just needs to prove it.

I loves these Hotholes in the worst way. They are rude, mean, and downright filthy but I would never turn my back on them. Loyalty, love, and friendship are the world to them. Unless of course you become a star to a certain one...

I have good and bad feelings about where this is going next. But either way, I will absolutely be waiting for it!

deanrosie are super cute, kinda instalovey tho! viciousemilia were hands down my fave part

Sigh

The books in this series just keep getting better and better. It is a writing gift when that happens. I love the story of Dean and Rose. I could go on and on about how L.J. Shen grabs me and jerks me right into the story, but I will just say read this book. It is heartbreakingly beautiful!

First of all, this story touched my heart in more ways than one. I've had experience with the silent killer that is Cystic Fibrosis. It takes something away from you that the rest of the world does so easily- breathing.

I truly enjoyed how real L.J Shen made the characters, their life and their demons feel.

This, like Vicious, is not a cookie cutter romance. It is real, it's raw, it's an all consuming passion that makes people wild. There's ups and downs, mistakes. But there was always a beautiful story being told.

This book was like being on a roller coaster, you think you see what's coming but then it takes an unexpected turn.

Overall: LOVED it.

I can definitely say the HotHole boys have stolen my heart.
