Ruckus is a poignant, sweeping story about a love that can overcome even the most daunting of obstacles.
Rosie LeBlanc has always loved Dean Cole. Even when he started dating her older sister in high school. Even though she’s vowed to remain alone. And Dean has always loved her back in his own complicated way. Years have passed and now they’re in each other’s orbits once again. And this time, Dean's not giving up until he gets the girl. This time, the strength of their love may just be enough to get them through the worst moments of their lives.
One of the most compelling elements of this novel is the inextricable link that Rosie and Dean share. Rosie’s strength is so refreshing to read in a heroine. And the way that L.J. Shen peels back Dean’s layers is masterful. There’s so must heat, passion, and love between the two protagonists, it sweeps the reader away. It’s perhaps my favorite in the Sinners of Saint series, and that is high praise, because they’re all captivating in their own way.
Start this series at the beginning, and prepare yourself to feel all of the emotions.

Pretty good plot. Still irritates me how they think richmond va is southerbelle and hillybilly but whatever. Very plot heavy but it forces the character development. Highly entertaining but hard to finish. Felt it kept dragging like the last 20% was for nothing. 2/5 on the smut scale. Nothing crazy like they couldve been longer.

This book was weird. It tackled serious issues but didn’t at the same time. Like the main lead had a illness and even though they focused on it they didn’t talk about how the male main lead really dealt with it he just pretended it wasn’t there. The main lead was kind of unbearable and not likeable. He always talked about how he loves the main girl but everything he said was just sexual for no reason and it was uncomfortable to read. Also the dynamic between the main guy and his friends was so weird because it seem like they weren’t close but they constantly told us how they were close even though they did not act as friends. Also the reason why the main girl does not date the main guy is because her sister dated him first but later in the book she just asked her sister if she can date him and she says yes so why didn’t the Mingo do that 11 years prior. this book was readable but I wouldn’t say it’s enjoyable like after I finished the book I was just like wow that was a waste of my time but at least its the first book I read this year. This whole paragraph is written three speech to text so if there are grammar and spelling issues its siri’s fault sorry

Having read the kids stories first, I know how this ends but it was still amazing!
