wow, just wow. i really wasn't expecting to love this book so much but wow

Another winner by the incredible L J Shen. In this book the focus is on Dean and Rosie and was an emotional rollercoaster throughout. I could not put this book down. This book focuses on hothole Dean and Rosie who is Em's little sister and delivers plenty on angst and drama. Loved it

Amazing!

Read Vicious and then read this book! Stop what you are doing right now and read this book. I LOVED this book. I couldn't put it down because I was completely invested in whether Dean was going to mess everything up or not! Talk about unexpected twist and turns! I'm rambling now and trying my hardest not to spoil this so just do me a favor and read it NOW!

Ruckus is the type of book that ripped my heart to shreds, obliterated it, and left my insides twisted and turned long after the book was finished.

This is Dean and Rosie’s story, which was so unexpected after Vicious because Rosie is Emilia’s little sister and Dean is Emilia’s ex. And I wasn’t sure how I’d feel about them together, but leave it to L.J.Shen to twist their story where they just fit, and not just any way but a perfect one. Their feelings towards one another were raw and truly inspiring, really.

Sure, Dean was mostly a self-centered asshole (or a hothole, whatever you prefer), just like any alpha male character created by L.J.Shen, and took what he wanted to take. But once you come to see the reasons behind his decision-making process and actions, it all just clicks and you cannot help but fall in love with this broken man with a heart of gold (and damn, now that I think about it, I’m so mad at L.J. for her merciless heart).

Perfect things are relatable. Unbreakable is fascinating, but not lovable. You’re breakable, Dean Cole. I’m going to do my best to keep you whole.

I loved Rosie as she carried the weight of her illness like a champ and just wanted to be treated like a normal woman—not forced into a protective bubble both her parents and Emilia had created around her. Her “what makes you feel alive” moments had me reflecting on what truly matters in my life... Dean was the only person who didn’t treat her as if she was about to break, constantly pushing her out of her comfort zone and protecting her in his unique, not strangling way.

Ruckus and Rosie

I honestly had my reservations about reading this one because how weird is it that dean and Millie use to date and now he is after her sister?!? But that being said the background info that was giving on Rosie and Dean helped me understand so much more of their relationship so kudos to the author she did this really well. Dean is amazing and has a lot of family drama going on and Rosie has her illness so it seems like they won’t get their hea but trust me it works out in the end.

Dean Cole's hotness, confidence and charm are uber sexy and Rosie's keep him on his toes spunkiness makes for another great read in this series.

The mystery that surrounded Dean was not what I expected to be honest since I kept thinking it was the obvious ''baby'' storyline but that twist was heartbreaking.

This is my first romance with illness rep, not certain how accurate, but holy crap does it pluck at the heart strings. I wasn't certain I was gonna continue this series, but I really wanted to know Rosie's (someone with a life changing illness and sass for days) story, and it was totally worth it.
