Despite the fact that I don’t think this needed to be 600+ pages, the ending was PHENOMENAL! With this series I consistently feel like I’m sucked into another world and the way Yarros writes battle scenes keeps you on the edge of your seat. Amazing! Can’t wait for book 3!
Voilet annoyed me for about 50% of the book. But i still had a good time ✌️.

3.5 stars, Okay that was a lot, there was some pretty cool bits not gonna lie.
Basically the first half dragged on with a lot of ‘I can’t trust you, you can’t trust me’. The whole actual war fighting venin was fun but I spend so much time rereading bc I am so far from following the story line.
